Down Stairs is proud to present New work, its first exhibition of Ioana Miller’s ceramics. Working with the fragility of porcelain, her recent pieces incorporate forms inspired by nature since moving to Great Brampton House in 2010. Most of the vessels or installations draw from organic shapes using individual hand built imprints. Ioana’s work has recently been exhibited at Found, Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge; the Battersea Decorative Arts Fair and features in the permanent collection of the American Embassy.
